Machining Capabilities
In 2013, we included Machining in our facility allowing us to be a one-stop solution for many of our customer’s requests.
As our business expanded we received numerous requests from customers to not only provide Wire EDM services but also CNC Machining services. In 2013, Infinity EDM added two Mitsubishi Diamond Cut Vertical Machining Centers. We felt it would be a great value-added service to fulfill our customer’s project needs in total. As deadliness became tighter we added two additional vertical machining centers. Our largest CNC Machine can handle a part 40”x80”x40”. 5 Axis Machining
In keeping with our efforts to improve efficiency, accuracy, lead times and pricing competitiveness, we added 5 Axis machining capabilities in 2020. This allows us to cut down on set up time and do combination angled machining in one operation.
Horizontal Milling
Infinity has recently added large horizontal machining capability to our resume. Increased requests for machining requiring longer plates, has brought about the need to do side work of various types including drilling, tapping, machining, slot work, etc.
Turning Capabilities
Adding several lathes to enhance our turning capacity started in 2016 with a small Mitsubishi LT 350 and has evolved into three lathes with dual spindles, live tooling and 3″ stock thru capacity. Accuracy is complimented by the use of Royal collets for holding tight tolerance turning where rigidity is imperative.
