FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JACKSON, WI — June 2, 2026 — Kyle Crum, President of Infinity EDM & Machining (Infinity), today delivers remarks as a Grand Opening & Welcome speaker at the inaugural Wisconsin Drives Manufacturing Summit, held June 1–2 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Crum joins Eric Wilcots, Interim Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Layla Merrifield, President of the Wisconsin Technical College System, to open the summit's main program day. The event brings together manufacturing, technology, and innovation leaders from across Wisconsin to address workforce development, technology adoption, and the long-term competitiveness of the state's manufacturing sector.

"Wisconsin's manufacturing ecosystem is one of the state's most important assets, and it deserves the kind of serious, practical conversation this summit is built around," said Crum. "I'm honored to be part of the opening alongside the university and technical college leadership doing so much to develop the next generation of manufacturing talent."

Crum brings a background that spans service in the U.S. Navy, a master's degree in mechanical engineering, leadership in Fortune 500 companies — most recently as Director of Advanced Technology at Rockwell Automation — and teaching at the university level. He has led Infinity since October 2025, continuing the Jackson, WI company's 27-year history of precision manufacturing for aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial customers nationwide.

Infinity is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, veteran-owned precision manufacturer specializing in Wire & Sinker EDM, Small Hold Drilling, CNC milling, turning, and surface grinding, with one of the largest concentrations of oversized wire EDM capacity in the country.

The Wisconsin Drives Manufacturing Summit is organized as a statewide collaboration among higher education, technical colleges, economic development organizations, and industry leaders. The summit's main program day runs 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on June 2 at Lambeau Field, Green Bay.
