Cole Tollard is a CNC machinist here at Infinity. He's also one of the top RC racers in the U.S.

This past October, Cole traveled to Castle Hills, Australia to compete in the 2025 IFMAR 1/10th Scale Off-Road World Championship. IFMAR Worlds is the highest level of competition in RC racing — the best drivers from around the globe, competing head-to-head over a week of qualifying and main events. Cole finished 9th in the world in 4WD buggy, highlighting him as one of the best on the planet in his class.

It's not his first time competing at that level. Cole is a previous ROAR Nationals champion — that's the U.S. national championship — and has made IFMAR Worlds main events before. Earlier this year, he joined Schumacher RC Racing as a sponsored team driver, representing the brand at major events across the country.

Competitive RC racing at this level demands precision. Setup changes are measured in fractions of a millimeter. Suspension geometry, gear ratios, tire compounds — small adjustments make a huge difference. It's a discipline that rewards patience, attention to detail, and knowing your equipment inside and out.

When he's not at the track, Cole brings that same focus to the work he does here, running parts on our CNC machines.

Congratulations on a great result in Australia, Cole. We're proud to have you on the team.
